We are seeking an experienced Intergration Architect for this permanent, full time position based at Blackburn North with hybrid work options available. 

About the role 

Reporting to the Director Enterprise Architecture & Strategy, this role has a strong emphasis on end to end planning and will provide direction and guidance to integration projects across internal and external teams and vendors. This position will ensure an efficient technical environment to support the seamless integration of all platforms, operating systems, and applications for AV. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Develop and implement AV's overall integration strategy, considering reusability, security, scalability, and quality
  • Identify, publish, and communicate strategic technology standards, frameworks, and principles to be used throughout the organisation to guide integration decisions and leverage efficiency opportunities
  • Assist Solution Architects and Project Managers in delivery of integration patterns and designs
  • Research enterprise architecture best practices and methodologies and use business requirements to identify, evaluate and present alternative design solutions
  • Establish continuous improvement and innovation processes working within the financial and resource constraints 

About you 

The successful candidate will have completion of a postgraduate degree or relevant industry certification with extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and high-level relevant experience (preferably in an IT related discipline). Other requirements include; 

  • Significant experience in developing Integration Architecture in a complex organisation
  • Proven demonstrated experience with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF and SAFe
  • Breadth of technical experience and knowledge, with depth in two or more of the following areas: Oracle SOA, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Azure Service Bus  
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, including well-developed written and oral communication skills with proven record of building relationships with senior level stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of emerging technologies, with the aptitude and experience to understand business and technology trends and their implications

This position is graded at AV6 under the AV (Management and Administrative Staff) Enterprise Agreement 2021. 

Hybrid working options are available however it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at our headquarters in line with our Hybrid work model.
