Position Details

About us 

The Department of Government Services (DGS) was established on 1 January 2023 to improve everyone's experience of doing business and interacting with the Victorian government. We bring important day-to-day services together in one department to make things easy and seamless for Victorians and businesses. We are doing this by connecting and digitising our systems and platforms across state and local government as well as streamlining our corporate and procurement services.  

About the role 

Reporting to the Senior Adviser, Performance and Outcomes, this role is responsible for preparing and collating data and relevant quantitative and qualitative reports for the Performance and Outcomes team and RSD Division to consider as required. The role contributes to monitoring the implementation of CAV's regulatory priorities and accurate capture of performance data. Stakeholder management, detail orientation and analytical skills are critical to success of this role.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Researches and applies theoretical knowledge in a specialised field to operational problem solving.
  • Prepares reports, briefs and correspondence on complex issues that impact at program or organisational level.
  • Resolves operational service delivery problems consistent with program objectives.

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is Melbourne CBD with hybrid work arrangements available.

 About you 

To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate: 

  • Proven experience in information and performance analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of, and or relevant experience in regulatory environment highly desirable.

Mandatory requirements

  • A tertiary qualification is desirable.
