About Us:

The Shrine of Remembrance is more than just a monument; it's a symbol of remembrance, honour, and community. We are seeking a dedicated Marketing Coordinator to join our team and help us drive awareness and participation in our core activities and programs. As a Marketing Coordinator, you'll have the chance to collaborate with a passionate team and contribute to the growth of visitation and public engagement at this historic site.

What You'll Do:

As our Marketing Coordinator, you will work closely with the Marketing Director to execute impactful marketing initiatives that elevate the Shrine's presence locally and nationally. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing tactical marketing initiatives that align with our mission and purpose.
  • Crafting compelling content and driving our social media across various platforms.
  • Co-developing and executing digital media tactics to amplify our reach and impact.
  • Maintaining the integrity of our brand and visual identity.
  • Producing eye-catching promotional materials that resonate with our audience.
  • Analysing visitor surveys to shape future marketing efforts.
  • Tracking audience engagement statistics and contributing to departmental reports.
  • Developing, positioning and promoting the Shrine's commercial and fundraising interests.

What You Bring:

We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual who can make a positive impact on our team. Here's what we're looking for:

  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in marketing, advertising, media, or communications.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, with a strong grasp of social media and digital platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with diverse communities.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 suite of programs and strong written communication skills.
  • Collaborative spirit and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Effective time management skills to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work.
  • Empathy for the objectives of the Shrine of Remembrance.
  • Knowledge of SEO, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Sked, along with Google Analytics, is a plus.
