This is a fantastic opportunity for an existing Midwife to express their interest in being part of an innovative, Endorsed Midwife led, sexual and reproductive health service on a casual basis for leave cover as required. The sexual and reproductive health service will provide services for women accessing care in Central Goldfields. The role will be responsible for the provision of advanced nursing and midwifery practice in the area of sexual and reproductive health. The role will involve the direct referral of patients to other health care professional, ordering and interpreting diagnostic investigations, while working towards prescribing of medications. The role may include, but is not limited to, the following fertility services including:
- Contraceptive counselling / initiation
- Termination of pregnancy access and support
- Provide support for women accessing MDHS IVF services
- Provide endometriosis and pelvic pain support
- Provide Cervical Screening and STI /BBV testing and support
