We are seeking an Application Specialist to provide a broad and highly developed technical and functional expertise in relation to the analysis, design, development, implementation, and security of AV Business systems. This is a Full Time, Permanent position currently based in Ballarat or Blackburn with WFH/Hybrid options available.
About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Business Applications, responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Provide timely and effective Level-2 technical, development and functional support for a range of AV business applications and corporate systems.
- Provide analysis, design and development of custom application, interface, database and reporting components for the range of AV business applications and corporate systems.
- Design and development of gateways and interfaces to external business partner IT systems using secure and industry standard technologies.
- Participate in DTS projects in the role of project team member and technical specialist.
About you
To be considered for this position you will possess:
- Completion of a postgraduate degree in an IT or business discipline or relevant industry certification.
- ITIL qualified, foundation level or above.
- Solid demonstrated experience in implementing and supporting large enterprise grade systems on Windows and Linux environments.
- Strong conceptual, analytical and design skills in order to quickly translate a business requirement into a technical solution.
- Solid demonstrated experience in managing Microsoft Azure, M365 including Power Platform, Enterprise Applications, Policies, and Active Directory.
- Significant demonstrated understanding of financial and business concepts, practices and procedures as well as an understanding of project management methodologies.
- Strong conceptual knowledge of product architecture and application integration.
- Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills to gain the acceptance and support of ideas, cooperation of others, and the ability to modify styles and techniques to accommodate tasks, situations and individuals.
