We are seeking a Fleet Maintenance Officer to provide support for our Operational Logistics Department. This is a full time, ongoing position currently based in Shepparton (At times there will be a requirement to work at other AV sites in Victoria).
About the role
Reporting to the Fleet Maintenance Coordinator, responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Generate and maintain records using the Fleet Management Information System (FMIS)
- Plan and Allocate repair and service requirements within the AV workshop to ensure availability of vehicles
- Provide input into procedures relating to vehicle maintenance as required
- Ensure vehicles are maintained to AV service standards by referring to the specifically designed service schedule
- Fit communication equipment such radios/telephones and accessories and provide base level repair for that equipment
About you
To be considered for this position you will possess:
- Motor Mechanic Qualifications and experience with diesel powered vehicles (highly desirable)
- Two years post qualification experience (highly desirable)
- Ability to develop an environment of co-operation to achieve optimisation of results
- Current Victorian Drivers License
