About us

Community Correctional Services (CCS) contributes to the safety of the community by applying practices that reduce reoffending and connect individuals to programs, services and community. CCS provides management of individuals on court orders, people who have committed serious sex offences on post sentence supervision and prisoners on parole.

About the role

Step into a pivotal leadership position as Manager Court Practice, where you'll provide direct line management, professional development and supervision to a team of advanced practitioners within the court practice stream promoting community corrections goals and optimising outcomes consistent with local business plans and strategies and CCS and CV business plans.

Your leadership will strengthen transitional case management practices, improving outcomes for complex and high-risk offenders subject to Community Correction Orders. Beyond internal oversight, you'll play a key role in building strong partnerships with local Courts, Police, and community services.

This role also includes participation in the after-hours Duty Director system, ensuring continuity of leadership and decision-making.

We're seeking a dynamic leader with:

  • Deep knowledge of best practice risk minimisation and therapeutic initiatives
  • Proven ability to manage teams and resources for seamless service delivery
  • Strong financial acumen to monitor performance, staffing, and resource needs

Take the opportunity to lead with purpose, influence outcomes, and strengthen community safety in a role that values collaboration, expertise, and impact.
