About the role

We're seeking a Project Officer to support the delivery of the Employment Pathway Brokerage Service (EPBS) within Corrections and Justice Services. This role is central to strengthening statewide consistency, performance reporting and stakeholder capability - helping EPBS deliver meaningful outcomes that reduce reoffending.

Working closely with Employment Pathway Brokers and key stakeholders, you'll provide high-quality project, reporting and administrative support, contribute to statewide initiatives, and support clear, effective communication across the service.

This 12-month, part-time position (0.4 FTE) offers genuine flexibility, including choice of location across Justice Service Centres or offices statewide, and flexibility in how hours are spread.

What you'll do

  • Prepare high-quality briefings, reports, templates and guidance materials
  • Coordinate performance and outcomes reporting, including data analysis
  • Support statewide projects that build stakeholder capability and consistency
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve EPBS objectives
  • Translate policy and program concepts into practical tools and processes

About you

You're organised, analytical and an effective communicator, with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse stakeholders. You bring:

  • Strong skills in data analysis, reporting and the use of information systems
  • Experience producing clear, high-quality written communications, including briefings and PowerPoint presentations
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A collaborative, team-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
  • The ability to navigate government processes and apply policy in a practical, outcomes-focused way
  • Project coordination or project management experience, or experience working in project-based environments (highly regarded)

Qualifications

No mandatory qualifications are required. Experience or knowledge of the criminal justice system, or the education, training and employment sector, will be highly regarded.
