About Community Correctional Services

Community Correctional Services (CCS) plays a vital role in contributing to the safety of the community by managing offenders on court orders, complex offenders on post sentence supervision and prisoners on parole. CCS ensures that offenders are meeting their court and parole conditions, engages offenders to build responsibility and connects offenders to programs, services and community.

About the role

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll be leading a team of office and field-based staff to deliver individualised community work placement opportunities for offenders and ensure that the placements allow offenders to successfully complete their court orders and gain skills to assist them in finding long term career opportunities.

Through the innovative design and implementation of place-based assignments, offenders are encouraged by CCS to build responsibility and develop new skills that will connect and assist them to integrate into society and achieve desired rehabilitative outcomes while making reparation for offenders they have committed.

You will:

  • develop, deliver and drive a business plan to enhance the community work offerings
  • set stretch targets to drive strengthened community work performance and outcomes
  • devise placement programs to maximise successful completion of court orders and
  • communicate and market the innovative and successful community work programs in the community.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role you will:

  • have a proven track record of successfully and effectively marketing and developing partnership strategies
  • demonstrate experience in developing strategic and mutually beneficial business partnerships with services
  • have a qualification or experience in Business, Arts, Marketing or Commerce is desirable
