Position Details


Beechworth Correctional Centre focuses on rehabilitation and pre-release activities to help prisoners reintegrate into the community when they are released. The prison design complements its rural setting and its environment reflects life in the general community as much as possible, offering prisoners similar structures, choices and responsibilities to those they will encounter in the outside world.

All applicants must have completed the Corrections Victoria prison officer pre-service training in order to be considered for this role.

Prior to commencement, the successful candidates will be required to obtain a current Statement of Attainment for the First Aid unit HLTAID002 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support.
