The Director, Economic and Social Inclusion plays a key role in strengthening the contribution the department makes to creating a more economically inclusive Victoria.  The Director will lead the Economic and Social Inclusion branch to drive economic and enterprise strategies that advance the social economy model place focussed outcomes and lead on integrated policy to embed economic inclusion outcomes across portfolios.

Reporting to the Deputy Secretary, Inclusion, you will work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, you will influence how we can better share the benefits of economic prosperity, address entrenched disadvantage and support a stronger and fairer society.  Contributing to the department's strategic direction, you'll play a leadership role in building a productive and positive operating culture.  You will manage and provide strategic leadership to a diverse team and actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement.

You will have a proven track record in policy innovation and strategy delivery plus sound knowledge and understanding of the challenges, issues and risks associated with a changing economy and government policies on economic and social inclusion.  With collaboration being critical, you will have significant experience building consensus with senior stakeholders across the private and public sectors, and within the community.
