Position Details
THE ROLE
The VPS3 Workforce Analyst is responsible for managing and monitoring the workforce management system to ensure business targets are achieved. This is achieved through balancing staffing levels with forecasted work volume demands and tracking any impacts to this including mitigation strategies used to combat these.
The position includes analysing results vs. forecasts, identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending solutions to achieve business goals and renter and key stakeholder expectations. The role is responsible in providing reporting, navigating and manipulating PowerBI dashboards and other adhoc reporting.
The Workforce Analyst manages the input of staffing tasks, including leave and managing these levels, and identifying any key staffing trends to the relevant managers. The role ensures consistency in the schedules and smooths tasks where needed.
The role is integral to effectively predict workload and plan resources to meet service delivery obligations.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Undertake forecasting and planning activities to effectively manage work schedules and systems to achieve service delivery goals.
- Support the team to provide contemporary individual staff performance reporting productively to the line managers.
- Prepare operational reports and analysis on service delivery trend data and statistics.
