Team Leader, Engagement

The Team

The position of Team Leader, Engagement forms a part of the Resources branch within the Forestry, Resources and Climate Change group.

The Resources Branch develops policy, programs and regulation to enable investment and generate jobs through the sustainable development of the State's earth resources, including extractives, minerals and petroleum.

The Role

Reporting to the Executive Director and overseeing a small team, you will manage engagement and communication events and activities with the community and other key stakeholders.  In addition, you will develop and deliver communications and engagement plans for the project teams within ERPP to ensure the views and issues of key stakeholders are captured and understood.

About You

Holding tertiary qualifications, you have demonstrated experience in stakeholder, community engagement and communications and providing support to senior managers and decision makers on community and stakeholder issues within tight timeframes.  With a proven track record in developing and implementing stakeholder engagement strategies and plans, you will be well versed in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, often with competing interests.
