Melbourne Metro's twin nine-kilometre tunnels will take two of the busiest rail lines out of the City Loop – creating space for more trains to run more often across Melbourne's rail network. The project will create a new end-to-end rail line from Sunbury in the west to Cranbourne-Pakenham in the south-east, with high capacity trains and five new underground stations at Arden, Parkville, in the CBD and at Domain. Position Details

We have an opportunity for a Senior Sustainability Advisor to be a part of the Metro Tunnel Sustainability team. Reporting to the Sustainability Manager, this key role will assist in the delivery and implementation of best practice environmental and sustainability outcomes for the Metro Tunnel Project and the Ballarat Line Upgrade (BLU) Project.

The Senior Sustainability Advisor is required to ensure the project implements the MMRA Sustainability Policy and Sustainability Targets across the procurement, construction and practical completion phases on the Early Works and BLU Packages. ISCA and GBCA outcomes are mandated for our delivery partners and experience in implementation of these two Sustainability Rating tools is essential.

We are looking for an experienced Sustainability Infrastructure practitioner who has expertise in delivering infrastructure sustainability rating tools on large infrastructural programs.

Attendance at construction and rail sites will be required.
