The Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions (DJSIR) is seeking to appoint a Director, Partnering and Reporting to join its team.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director, Partnering and Reporting is responsible for overseeing the department's budget, supporting innovation in financial systems, and delivering an effective financial management business partnering framework.
The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with expertise in managing complex budgets, driving financial improvements, and enhancing processes. They will champion innovation and a strong business partnering framework to support departmental growth.
The Finance, Investment and Procurement branch supports best practice resource allocation, budget and financial management and procurement across the department. It does this through the provision of strategic advice to the senior Executive and Ministers, development and implementation of frameworks, policies, systems and internal controls in accordance with the Financial Management Act 1994, other relevant legislation, accounting standards and Department of Treasury and Finance and Victorian Government Purchasing Board requirements.
