Technical Development Manager

Rail Projects Victoria (RPV) is the Victorian Government agency responsible for delivery of the $11 billion Metro Tunnel Project, the $1.7 billion Regional Rail Revival program including the Ballarat Line Upgrade and the development of the high-speed rail to Geelong and Airport Rail Link. RPV is responsible for all aspects of the projects including planning approvals and the development of a project reference design, site investigations, stakeholder management, planning approvals and procurement, through to construction delivery and project commissioning. On 27 June 2017, the Victorian Government secured Commonwealth funding to revive Victoria’s regional rail network, including the creation of over 1,000 jobs in regional Victoria. Position Details

Reporting to the Director Development, the Technical Development Manager is a senior position requiring a high level of experience and knowledge of engineering management and methodologies and practices relevant for major infrastructure projects and document submissions and interface with Government agencies. Strong experience with infrastructure development for the public sector is essential. Experience in Engineering Submission processes and standards is highly desirable.
