Position Details
THE ROLE
The Senior Project Officer (PDP) is responsible for the day to day operations of the Performance and Development Plan (PDP) and Progression processes for the department.
The role is to ensure that the PDP and Progression processes operate as smoothly, efficiently and effectively as possible. The role will have responsibility to provide leadership to the Project Officer (PDP) to perform all tasks pertaining to the PDP and Progression processes starting from the planning, OurPeople setup and testing of PDP forms and Goals, establishing and delivering appropriate communications, reminders and notices throughout the year, conducting appropriate PDP training throughout the year, providing relevant, accurate and complete reporting and managing the Progression processes. The Senior Project Officer (PDP) will collaborate with others across People and Culture Branch and Shared Services to make sure the PDP and Progression processes operate smoothly.
This role is also responsible to identify and improve the PDP and Progression operational processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness. This role will work together with the People Platforms and Processes team to support business improvement initiatives around Performance Management.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Work with the PDP Officer to manage the day-to-day tasks to keep the PDP and Progression processes running efficiently and effectively for the whole department and agencies
- Administer the OurPeople Performance module and take responsibility for delivering standard reports and reports on request
- Contribute to design, implement and improve the operations of PDP and Progression processes
– Development and delivery of improvement opportunities and their successful delivery and completion within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters
– Monitoring and evaluation of PDP and Progression processes to ensure objectives are met
– Testing and validating proposed future state of OurPeople platform.
