Systems Assurance Engineer

The Level Crossing Removal Authority (LXRA) was established in 2015 to oversee the largest rail infrastructure project in Victoria’s history, including the elimination of 50 dangerous and congested level crossings across Melbourne by 2022. To date, 26 level crossings have been removed, 14 train stations have been rebuilt, new track has been laid, and three level crossing removals are now in construction. Systems Assurance Engineer

  • Salary range of $82,574 - $93,689  plus superannuation
  • One full time, fixed term VPS 4 opportunity for up to 3 years

An exceptional opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced Systems Assurance Engineer to join the Level Crossing Removal Authority (LXRA), working on one of the largest infrastructure projects in Victoria's history.

Reporting to the Systems Assurance Manager the Systems Assurance Engineer will be responsible for providing management and governance across LXRA to ensure compliance to project requirements is met across all projects. The position will also be responsible for providing coordination between multiple stakeholders and projects to ensure this framework is saleable across all projects and assist in managing these requirements. 

Key to your application will be your experience in developing and managing programs on complex systems and projects, and ability to verify and validate processes from a whole of project perspective. Your strong ability to influence and build strong working relationships and work autonomously in a fast-paced project environment will also ensure your success in this critical role.
