Senior Workplace Relations Advisor
- $98,396 - $119,052 (Plus Superannuation)
- Fixed Term, 12 months
- Usual hours of work: Full Time (flexibility may be available)
- Usual work location: CBD (flexibility may be available)
The Senior Workplace Relations Advisor is responsible for the delivery of advice and consultancy services on a wide range of workplace relations activities, including providing strategic and tactical advice and support on workplace relations matters within the department and portfolio agencies. This position will also act as the Review of Actions Registrar for the department.
The successful candidate for this position will demonstrate –
- experience, in managing complex human resource and/or workplace relations issues in the public sector environment;
- sound knowledge and understanding of the legislative, regulatory and industrial instruments relating to employment in the Victorian Public Service;
- experience of gaining agreement and building support and ownership of ideas by using appropriate influence to achieve outcomes;
- ability to adapt to change, to maintain composure and focus under pressure, and experience in actively promoting and driving change; and
- experience in establishing and maintaining working relationships with key stakeholders, including senior managers within and external to the department
The position of Senior Workplace Relations Advisor is part of the People & Workplace Services branch in the Corporate Services group. Corporate Services actively supports Ministers and DJPR portfolio groups to create the conditions for sustainable economic development and employment growth
