The position of Manager, Attraction Strategy, Diversity & Inclusion forms a part of the Attraction Strategy, Diversity & Inclusion Branch in People & Workplace Services Division within Corporate Services Group.

Corporate Services actively supports Ministers and DEDJTR portfolio groups to create the conditions for sustainable economic development and employment growth. The Group works collaboratively to deliver integrated and operational functions across the department, leading the development of governance, people, culture, systems and capability. It comprises Financial Management; Ministerial and Portfolio Services; People and Workplace Services; Strategic Procurement; and Technology Services. Corporate Services deliver service excellence through collaboration with DEDJTR partners, stakeholders and clients.

Reporting to Executive Director, People and Workplace Services, the Manager, Attraction Strategy, Diversity & Inclusion will lead the delivery of the department's strategy for attracting and retaining top talent, this will include internally facing workforce diversity and inclusion strategies and employment programs.

The successful applicant will work effectively as a member of a team, enjoy flexible working arrangements and undertake a wide variety of work across the division. This role manages a small team of four VPS employees and one YES trainee.

To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience and a record of achievement in the field of attraction strategy including workforce diversity and inclusion and employment programs.  You should also have sound project management skills, with demonstrated ability to initiate, plan, manage and deliver projects to achieve specified outcomes within defined timeframes and budgets.
