About the role:
We have two full time, ongoing roles available (part time considered):

  • Regional Manager, Ballarat
  • Regional Manager, Broadmeadows

We are seeking engaged and dynamic people managers to lead our dedicated team of legal and support staff servicing the relevant regions. You will play a key role in the planning and delivery of legal assistance services and form part of VLA's collective leadership team.

In this role you will lead our Ballarat or Broadmeadows based teams to ensure the provision of high quality, responsive legal services to the community across a range of practice areas, including criminal, family, child protection and civil law. You will work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, manage local stakeholder relationships, and contribute to driving systemic justice reform for VLA's clients.

  • Able to manage a regional office budget, staff resourcing and other regional planning as required
  • Currently hold or are eligible to hold a legal practicing certificate within the state Victoria (mandatory), with experience in either criminal, family, child protection or civil law.
