Position Details

Director, Budget Management and Partnering

  • Lead a team managing budget, financial performance and reporting for a State Government Department
  • Fixed Term, up to 12 months (parental leave)
  • CBD Location
Reporting to the Executive Director, Finance and Procurement, the Director Budget Management and Partnering plays a leadership role in managing budget and financial performance as well as advising on complex financial issues and driving excellence and innovation in budget management services. 

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of financial management, budgeting financial analysis and drivers of business performance.  You will have a proven track record in providing strategic financial advice and high level financial information to stakeholders.     As a senior leader you will have experience in building and maintaining productive, sustainable relationships with key stakeholders including the Department of Treasury and Finance. Critical to your success, will be your proven experience improving the quality and data integrity of budget and strategic financial analysis and advising on performance and risk.
