Position Details

The Executive Director, Information Services provides strategic and operational leadership to the IT function, including developing a robust culture that focuses on high performance, fostering technical expertise, collaboration and innovation – and on creating the next group of leaders.  The ED I&T has ownership of leadership, governance and direction of the information and communication technology strategy and architecture for DJPR and portfolio agencies.  As a trusted adviser to the Leadership Board, the position will help deliver the Department's vision and strategy in a meaningful way that is embraced by all stakeholders.

A highly values-based leader, you have demonstrated experience in leading a large and complex ICT function, including project management, in a diverse and changing environment.  People focussed, you have a history of driving cultural change and developing high performing teams in the fulfilment of business and systems that underpin the mission.  Your success has been predicated on your highly collaborative style in building highly customer-centric, service focused environments and you are known for your clear communications and ability to influence.  An ethos of accountability and operating with integrity has underpinned your achievements across diverse stakeholder groups in complex environments.
