Senior Arts Officer, Aboriginal Partnerships

The position of Senior Arts Officer, Aboriginal Partnerships forms a part of the Arts Investment branch, Creative and Victoria Economies division within the Employment, Investment and Trade group.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Partnership Programs, you  will assist with the development and management of programs, guidelines and systems to support the development of aboriginal cultural and creative industries throughout the State. The Senior Arts Officer will be required to develop and maintain effective networks and relationships through engagement and partnering with stakeholders and Aboriginal communities. 

The Arts Investment branch is Creative Victoria's principal interface with the non-government arts and cultural sector.  If you have sound knowledge of Aboriginal arts and culture in Victoria along with experience in engaging, consulting and collaborating with Aboriginal communities, then this could be the role for you.  Demonstrated experience in managing investment programs, highly developed computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and a relevant tertiary degree would be highly regarded.
