The opportunity:

The Proactive Security Specialist provides expertise in security controls and processes to ensure the effective delivery of security services to customers and covers both on-premises and Cloud platforms. As a proactive team member, the specialist is required to provide agile high-quality support, development and improvement of security controls, processes, threat detection and threat response.

What you'll be involved in:

Day to day you'll be expected to:

•    provide day to day operational support to Cenitex internal staff and customer departments.
•    lead planning, preparation and implementation of complex security activities in a large diverse technology environment.
•    develop threat analysis and Incident Response plans.
•    Research and develop improvement initiatives that benefit the team and customers.

You'll need to have:

To be a success in this role you need to have:

•    complex and specialised technical investigations to resolve issues with Security Controls within SLA.
•    experience in advising stakeholders on security controls and processes.
•    perform operational and project activities.
•    leadership and coaching a team.
•    preparation of advanced technical reports, documents and processes.
•    high level of organisational and customer service skills.
•    ability to work autonomously within a team and well developed written and verbal communication skills.
