The position of Technical Officer is part of the Recreational Fishing Improvements Division within the Victorian Fisheries Authority.

The Recreational Fishing Improvements Division is responsible for implementing projects to improve recreational fishing opportunities across Victoria.

Reporting to the Program Manager, Fish Production and Stocking, you will provide technical, administrative and operational support to the Department's recreational fish production and liberation program.

To be successful in this role, you will have well-developed computer, interpersonal and communication skills, an understanding of native and salmonid fish production practices and awareness of fish health considerations, demonstrated initiative and ability to participate within a team environment.  A relevant tertiary degree and/or experience would be well regarded.
