Position Details

REGIONAL MANAGER IRRIGATION – NORTH CENTRAL

The position of Regional Manager Irrigation – North Central forms a part of the Agriculture Victoria division, Biosecurity and Agriculture Sciences branch within the Employment, Investment and Trade group.

The Employment, Investment and Trade Group delivers programs and services to grow the Victorian economy.  Its focus is on creating jobs and raising incomes through industry development, targeted investment and increasing the export value of Victorian firms.

Reporting to the Program Manager, Irrigation, you will be responsible for leading delivery of high quality and integrated services to the Victorian irrigated agriculture sectors in the North Central catchment, to achieve economic growth and enhance sustainable natural resource management.

To be successful in this role, you will have an appropriate tertiary degree in Agricultural Science, Science, Natural Resource Management or an equivalent science qualification.  You will have passion and experience working in Victorian irrigated agriculture with sound leadership skills and experience in managing regional stakeholder relationships.
