The position of Senior Advisor Operational Policy forms a part of the Resources division within the Rural and Regional Victoria group.

The Senior Advisor Operational Policy provides authoritative advice relating to the development and implementation of Earth Resources Regulation's policy proposals and legislation. The position provides analysis, advice, comment and opinion regarding legislation and regulations administered by Earth Resources Regulation.

The role is responsible for managing projects, development and implementation of Memorandums of Understanding, acting as the Executive Officer for a range of forums, and researching and preparing ministerial briefings, correspondence and Cabinet documents.
