The Level Crossing Removal Authority (LXRA) was established in 2015 to oversee the largest rail infrastructure project in Victoria’s history, including the elimination of 50 dangerous and congested level crossings across Melbourne by 2022. To date, 26 level crossings have been removed, 14 train stations have been rebuilt, new track has been laid, and three level crossing removals are now in construction. An exceptional opportunity exists for an experienced Copy Editor to join the Level Crossing Removal Authority (LXRA), working on one of the largest infrastructure projects in Victoria's history.

Reporting to the Manager, Marketing, Brand & Creative, the Copy Editor will be responsible for providing a range of editing functions including reviewing, amending and correcting correspondence. The position will also be responsible for ensuring that all documents conform to the House Style rules, as well as identifying and responding to potential legal risks and discussing them with the publisher.

Key to your application will be your advanced level of written English. Your strong ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team will also ensure your success in this critical role.
