We are the Level Crossing Removal Authority (LXRA); we deliver great change and transform the way Victorians live, work and travel. We were established in 2015 to oversee the largest rail infrastructure project in Victoria’s history, including the elimination of 50 dangerous and congested level crossings across Melbourne by 2022. To date, 29 level crossings have gone, 14 train stations have been rebuilt, and so much more is happening!

We are entering an exciting period as the organisation and the P&C function evolves. As part of this, we have a new opportunity for an experienced Strategic People & Culture Business Partner to join our dynamic People & Culture team to continue the great work we do.

Strategic People & Culture Business Partner

The impact you could make:

Working across a broad LXRA client portfolio, you will be responsible for partnering with senior leaders and managers providing value add people related advice and solutions that align to organisational objectives. As a highly skilled strategic business partner, you will work closely with leaders to help influence the overall success of various business functions, by driving a high-performing, resilient and change-ready culture. You will also be responsible for driving people initiatives that have impact and deliver against both the People Strategy and the LXRA Strategic Blueprint.

About you:

Key to your application will be your extensive experience in strategic HR management/leadership, excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to provide creative/innovative solutions to organisational issues. You will thrive working in a fast paced and varied environment and enjoy identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.  You will be known for your ‘outside-in' mindset and enjoy coaching people to drive performance. Your can-do attitude and roll up your sleeves approach will see you succeed in this role.
