About the role

This is an exciting ongoing opportunity for an experienced Head of Communication and Stakeholder Engagement to join our team Strategic Communications team here at MRPV. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of successful communications, community and stakeholder engagement strategies for a multi billion dollar program of works for MRPV.

This is a leading role and you will be required to develop innovative and effective communication mechanisms to support and enhance the planning, development and delivery of a range of major road projects and will actively contribute to and champion people development issues, display leadership to enrich a positive team culture and motivate team members to achieve outstanding results.

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone who can bring passion and build a positive team culture to help and support the team to develop and deliver outstanding results for MRPV. You will have specialist skills to manage the development and implementation of significant community consultation and stakeholder engagement programs. To be successful in this role it is crucial for you to have extensive experience in the development and management of communications and stakeholder relations strategies and frameworks tailored to specific projects, people and issues management within complex and high-pressure major project environments, preferably including road projects and on behalf of the government.
