Online Communications Advisor

Rail Projects Victoria (RPV), formerly known as Melbourne Metro Rail Authority, is the Victorian Government body responsible for the delivery of the Metro Tunnel Project, Regional Rail Revival, the high speed rail link between Geelong and Melbourne and the future Melbourne Airport Link. RPV is responsible for all aspects of the projects including planning and development of a project reference design, site investigations, stakeholder engagement, planning approvals and procurement, through to construction delivery and project commissioning. RPV has assembled a skilled team of highly experienced professionals from across the public and private sectors to ensure the objectives of its projects are achieved for the Victorian community.

About the role

Reporting to the Online Communications Manager, the Online Communications Advisor will support the Communications and Stakeholder Relation team in delivering high-quality communications materials and advice to help deliver the Metro Tunnel Project and other RPV projects as required.

This role will require an ability to work in a complex and demanding environment within tight timeframes. The appointee will need to be well organised and able to work autonomously while also being an effective team player. The role requires excellent project management skills, in particular a capacity to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
