The position of Principal Policy Officer, Latrobe Valley Regional Rehabilitation Strategy forms a part of the Resources division, Earth Resources Policy and Programs branch within the Employment, Investment and Trade group.

The Employment, Investment and Trade Group delivers programs and services to grow the Victorian economy.  Its focus is on creating jobs and raising incomes through industry development, targeted investment and increasing the export value of Victorian firms.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this role will drive policy development and advice for the Latrobe Valley Rehabilitation Strategy (LVRRS), work closely with government and external stakeholders in its development and implementation, and take a lead writing role in preparing the LVRRS for publication by June 2020.

We are looking for a passionate and strategic thinker to help develop a key pillar in the transition of the Latrobe Valley.
