PROJECT MANAGER, INTEGRATED MAPPING AND JOURNEY PLANNING

  • $115,136 - $154,076 (Plus Superannuation)
  • Fixed Term (2 Years) 
  • Usual hours of work: Full Time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual work location: Melbourne, CBD  (flexibility may be available)

 

The position of Project Manager forms a part of the Brand and Partnerships  Branch in Operational Coordination  Division within Transport for Victoria Group.

Transport for Victoria within DEDJTR, is led by the Head, Transport for Victoria, and is responsible for the creation of transport system policy and reforms, legislative development, network planning, asset and network development, rolling stock development, operational coordination and investment, and engagement with users and Transport for Victoria agencies, including PTV and VicRoads.

The Project Manger Integrated Mapping and Journey Planning is responsible for leading a coordinated approach for Transport for Victoria to deliver our Network Impact Management Plan (NIMP).

The role will also understand potential to integrate mapping across the transport portfolio, infrastructure projects and IMAP Councils.

The role will be responsible for information discovery, requirements gathering and analysis, recommending a way forward and delivery of a project plan aligned with the Operational Coordination Division's requirements.  Excellent stakeholder management within a complex environment will be key to the success of this role.

Specialist Experience Required:

  • A strong understanding of mapping and or data platforms, systems and tools.
  • A strong understanding of Victoria's transport system, the role of operations and processes of government.
  • Understanding of digital systems and platforms is desirable.
  • Experience in delivering presentations and the ability to explain using non-technical language.
