The Level Crossing Removal Authority (LXRA) was established in 2015 to oversee the largest rail infrastructure project in Victoria’s history, including the elimination of 75 dangerous and congested level crossings across Melbourne. To date, 29 level crossings have been removed, 14 train stations have been rebuilt, new track has been laid, and three level crossing removals are now in construction. Position Details

Senior Estimator

  • High-profile rail infrastructure project
  • Salary range of $158,730 - $215,875 plus superannuation
  • One full time, fixed term PSET opportunity for up to 3 years

An exceptional opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Estimator to join the Level Crossing Removal Authority (LXRA), working on one of the largest infrastructure projects in Victoria's history.

Reporting to the Cost Planning Manager, the Senior Estimator will be responsible for the preparation of project capital cost estimates for projects at various stages of the Project Lifecycle. The position will also be responsible for developing, implementing and managing the estimating processes to drive consistency and lead industry practice approaches across LXRA.

Key to your application will be your multi-disciplinary estimating experience in an infrastructure, construction or engineering environment. Your ability to provide strong technical expertise in interpreting engineering/construction drawings and planswill also ensure your success in this critical role.
