Position Details

PROJECT MANAGER - TRACEABILITY

  • $116,863 - $156,387 (Plus Superannuation)
  • Fixed Term – 2 YEARS 
  • Usual hours of work: Full Time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual work location: Attwood (flexibility may be available)

The position of Project Manager - Traceability forms a part of the Agriculture Victoria division, Biosecurity and Agriculture branch within the Employment, Investment and Trade group.

The Employment, Investment and Trade Group delivers programs and services to grow the Victorian economy.  Its focus is on creating jobs and raising incomes through industry development, targeted investment and increasing the export value of Victorian firms.

Reporting to the Director Biosecurity Operations, you will lead the implementation of key traceability programs, projects and initiatives within the Biosecurity and Agriculture Services branch (BAS).

To be successful in this role, you will have highly developed interpersonal, conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills.  Experience leading complex projects in a government context and at all stages as well as demonstrated high level written communication skills and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively are a must.  A relevant tertiary degree and/or experience in developing projects related to biosecurity, product integrity and traceability will be well regarded.
