Rail Projects Victoria (RPV), formerly known as Melbourne Metro Rail Authority, is the Victorian Government body responsible for the delivery of the Metro Tunnel Project, Regional Rail Revival, the high speed rail link between Geelong and Melbourne and the future Melbourne Airport Link. RPV is responsible for all aspects of the projects including planning and development of a project reference design, site investigations, stakeholder engagement, planning approvals and procurement, through to construction delivery and project commissioning.

Position Details

About the role

This specialist role will sit in Rail Projects Victoria's (RPV) Tunnels and Stations team and work closely with the Systems Integration Team (SIT). Reporting to the Deputy Director, MTP Systems Integration Team, this role will provide specialist advice relating to requirements management, system assurance, and interface management for the Tunnel & Stations (T&S) work package. The role will call on experience and expertise gained from working within complex, multi-discipline rail design and construction projects environments. Experience in Systems Engineering roles for modern metro rail systems will be highly regarded. The ability to work within a multi-discipline project team and to build and maintain strong working relationships across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to manage and assist resolution of complex issues will be fundamental for success in this role.
