  • $82,574 - $93,689 plus superannuation ($84,019 - $95,329 plus superannuation effective 1 January 2019)

The position of Project Support Officer forms a part of the People Services Branch in Service Centre within Corporate Services Group.

The Project Support officer is accountable to the Manager, Payroll Operations for maintaining accurate, timely and efficient payroll data for the department.

The Service Centre delivers many of CSG's operational services including financial operations, people services, ministerial coordination and records management. The Service Centre provides a systematic approach to improving efficiency and effectiveness by designing, testing, implementing, monitoring and measuring the services CSG delivers, to continually improve processes. It invests in developing capabilities in the disciplines of Service Management, Process Management and Customer Engagement.

The successful applicant will work effectively as a member of a team, enjoy flexible working arrangements and undertake a wide variety of work across the division. The position has a requirement to attend Branch and team meetings in the CBD Melbourne (Head Office), including attending and participating in learning activities pertinent to development in this role and to support other service centre roles as needed.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Proven experience in the use of CHRIS21 or other HRIS systems and managing processes associated with payroll data maintenance functions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including high competency in using SharePoint, One Note MS Excel or other reporting tools.
  • Well-developed analytical and conceptual skills including the demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems, develop solutions and achieve results
