The Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) was established in 2015 to oversee the largest rail infrastructure project in Victoria’s history, including the elimination of 75 dangerous and congested level crossings across Melbourne. To date, 29 level crossings have been removed, 18 train stations have been rebuilt, new track has been laid, and three level crossing removals are now in construction.   • Salary range of $118,908 – $159,124  plus superannuation
  • One full time, fixed term VPS 6 opportunity for up to 3 years

An exceptional opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced Cost Controller to join the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP), working on one of the largest infrastructure projects in Victoria's history.

Reporting to the Cost Planning Manager, the Cost Controller will be responsible for all aspects of cost control including but not limited to; developing time phasing budgets, reporting cost deviations, cash flow reporting, cost forecasting, and cost management. The position will also be responsible for ensuring LXRP meets the ongoing internal and external reporting requirements resulting in successful project delivery.

Key to your application will be your strong ability to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams and capability to deliver quality work to meet project deadlines. Your demonstrated experience in a major transport infrastructure project would be highly regarded.
