The Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) was established in 2015 to oversee the largest rail infrastructure project in Victoria’s history, including the elimination of 75 dangerous and congested level crossings across Melbourne. To date, 29 level crossings have been removed, 18 train stations have been rebuilt, new track has been laid, and three level crossing removals are now in construction. An exceptional opportunity exists for a suitably experienced Contract Manager to join the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP), working on one of the largest infrastructure projects in Victoria's history.

Reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager, Technical, the Contract Manager will be responsible for managing the Technical Services contract.  The role works closely with Commercial and Legal teams to ensure the contract complies with the Level Crossing Removal Projects (LXRP) commercial requirements. This role also collaborates with the Engineering & Program Services department, together with other functions across LXRP to ensure the Technical Services contract is implemented and administered efficiently.

Key to your application will be your demonstrated experience working in engineering services contract management within major brownfields projects; preferably rail projects, strong working knowledge of the Victorian technical consulting sector and experience in the active management of risk across multiple works streams, within a project lead environment.  Your strong ability to operate effectively in both public (government) and private (industry) project teams will also ensure your success in this critical role.
