Position Details

Operations and Network Lead, Bus Services Recontracting

A key focus of the role is the Melbourne Bus Franchise (MBF) tender project. Reporting to the Deputy Program Director,  the Operations and Network Lead will work as part of a project team that will conduct a tender for MBF services, which is approximately 30 percent of the metropolitan Melbourne bus network (currently operated by Transdev). The Operations and Network Lead will lead the workstream responsible for operations and network planning input to the project. The Operations and Network Lead will also provide operations and network planning input to regional bus service contracts.

The successful applicant will have extensive experience in analysing bus networks and bus operations and developing strategies for efficient and optimal passenger outcomes.
