The position of Project Support Officer – Dry Seasonal Conditions (Statewide) forms a part of the Biosecurity and Agriculture Services branch within int Agriculture Victoria group.

The Project Support Officer - Dry Seasonal Conditions will support the effective delivery of dry seasonal conditions response initiatives.  Reporting to the Statewide Dry Seasonal Conditions Coordinator, the position will work closely with staff within the Agriculture Services Unit to support farm businesses and communities prepare and respond to dry seasonal conditions and drought.

The Project Support Officer will coordinate and provide administrative services to support Agriculture Services Unit staff in the delivery of services to farm businesses and communities, including collation of client engagement and evaluation data. This state-wide position includes the provision of support to the Statewide Dry Seasonal Conditions team, and the Drought and Dry Seasonal Conditions Regional Coordinators.

The successful candidate will be energetic, organised and motivated to work effectively as a member of a team. The successful applicant will need to have strong planning and organisational skills, an interest in community engagement and broad exposure to agriculture or a related field.
