Director, Integrity

The Director-General is the Head of the Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (MTIA) including the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP), Rail Projects Victoria (RPV), North East Link Project (NELP), West Gate Tunnel Project (WGTP) and Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV). LXRP is responsible for the removal of 50 level crossings which will enable more train services to operate and reduce traffic congestion. LXRP has also delivered the Mernda rail extension. RPV is responsible for the delivery of the Metro Tunnel Project, the Regional Rail Revival and the Victorian rail improvement program including Airport Rail Link and the high-speed rail to Geelong. MRPV is responsible for the development and delivery of a multi-billion dollar portfolio of major road projects including a $2.2 billion package to upgrade 13 arterial roads across Melbourne’s north and south-eastern suburbs.

About the opportunity

The Director, Integrity will work within the Office of the Director-General and will be responsible for ensuring the Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (MTIA) takes a proactive, best practice and coordinated approach to integrity issues. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership to enable the development and implementation of effective strategies and initiatives that fulfil statutory and policy obligations and ensures that the highest standards of professionalism and integrity are demonstrated by MTIA. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a robust understanding of integrity and regulatory obligations in the Victorian Government context, particularly as they apply in a project delivery environment.
