Senior Project Communications Officer

  • $98,396 - $119,052 (Plus Superannuation)

The position of Senior Project Communications Officer forms a part of the Agriculture Regulatory Policy and Animal Welfare Victoria branch within the Agriculture Victoria group.

Reporting to the Program Coordinator Biosecurity, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering strategic communications, media, social media and stakeholder engagement activities for Strengthening Victoria's Biosecurity System (SVBS).

To be successful in this role, you will have proven ability to successfully plan and deliver cross-disciplinary stakeholder engagement strategic communications along with the ability to constantly look for continuous improvement opportunities and ways to innovate in delivering written project outputs.  The ability to use a variety of systems, processes and sources as well as proven ability to establish and maintain sustainable relationships with staff at all levels within and external to the department are a must.  A relevant tertiary degree or industry recognised qualification in communications or public relations (or similar) would be well regarded.
