This position is responsible for managing a team of staff who plan, develop and implement community sport and recreation infrastructure investment programs.  The Group Manager Community Infrastructure Programs is accountable for a range of internal and external partnerships that leverage outcomes, create collaborative investment opportunities and oversee best practice investment program administration and development.

 Group Manager Community Infrastructure Programs

  • $120,692 - $161,511 (Plus Superannuation)

  • Usual hours of work: Full Time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual work location: 50 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne (flexibility may be available)

The position will play a leadership role within the Community Infrastructure Programs Unit by managing a range of internal and external partnerships that influence positive outcomes, create collaborative investment opportunities and oversee best practice investment program administration and development.   

 To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate high level strategic thinking abilities and analytical skills, project and or program leadership experience, people management ability and a good understanding of the Victorian Government's departmental policies and processes. Highly developed interpersonal skills, including competencies across communicating and negotiating at senior levels will ensure your success in this position.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Records Check prior to commencing employment with the Department.
