Position Details

The Principal Engineer, Power Systems is a subject matter expert role within the project's Engineering team, providing expert technical leadership across all Power Systems, ensuring power systems objectives are achieved for the Suburban Rail Loop, including wider network electrification enhancements. This role will lead the High Voltage systems architecture and provide subject matter expertise to cover all traction and related power systems including rail substations, earthing, bonding and electrolysis, electromagnetic compatibility and interference, signal power systems and associated high voltage distribution systems. Working closely within a multi-disciplinary team environment, the Principal Engineer, Power Systems will be the primary source of specialist technical power related advice. Working with multiple stakeholders, this role will consult with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders influencing key project decisions.
