The Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (MTIA) is responsible for facilitating the development and delivery of the biggest transport infrastructure program in Victorian history. MTIA is established as an Administrative Office under the Public Administration Act 2004 as a specialist organisation, comprising skilled and experienced staff across the various professional disciplines involved in transport infrastructure project delivery. Led by the Director-General, it has five key groups: Level Crossing Removal Project, Major Road Projects Victoria, the North East Link Project, Rail Projects Victoria and the West Gate Tunnel Project.

About this opportunity:

The Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (MTIA) is building up capability to deliver a range of IT initiatives created out of the development the Information Communications and Technology (ICT) strategy. The Senior Business Analyst position will involve analysis, evaluation and documentation of current business processes, systems and applications to help develop the requirement leading to future state in consultation with key business stakeholders and external vendors.

There is a broad cross section of contemplated improvements spanning Human Capital Management systems, Procurement/Contract Management, Collaboration (Microsoft Team, Intranet), Policy, Finance and Risk.  

This role will work across the Office of the Director-General, engage closely with all MTIA Project Groups and government departments notably DJPR and DoT and CenITex to identify business process improvement opportunities and be fully engaged throughout the lifecycle from ideation to implementation and business as usual support.
