Position Details

The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Business Systems Architect to join the IT team at MRPV. As the Business Systems Architect, you will be responsible for the technical design and governance of quality solutions that delivery MRPV's strategic objectives. You will work closely with MTIA and DOT and third-party providers to deliver and integrate with enterprise systems, as well as with the Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Business Systems groups across the business to provide expertise, maintain technical oversight and guide MRPV toward a defined future state. You will also drive conceptual and logical architecture design for new initiatives and develop standards, patterns, best practices for reuse and future project acceleration.

This is a fixed term position for 2 years.

About you

You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be a problem-solver, with the ability to engage effectively with key internal and external stakeholders, building and maintaining effective relationships. You will also possess strong analytical skills, be organised and process driven, coupled with the ability to investigate business needs, problems and opportunities and translate the requirements into functional specifications and IT solutions.

You will hold a relevant IT qualification with extensive experience with systems architecture, particularly around IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS and cloud computing.
