Senior eLearning Content Developer

  • $ 85,279 - $ 96,759 (Plus Superannuation)
  • Fixed Term / 3 years
  • Usual hours of work: Full Time (flexibility may be available)

The position of Senior eLearning Content Developer forms a part of the Information Services within Corporate Services. The Information Services (IS) Branch, within Corporate Services, oversees the delivery of ICT-related investments and services to DJPR. The Enterprise Architecture and Strategic Platforms (EA&SP) unit, within Information Services is responsible for the provision of contemporary end to end ICT systems, services and solutions to support the strategic requirements of DJPR.

Reporting to the Senior Business Advisor, Enterprise Architecture and Strategic Platforms, within The DJPR Corporate Services Group, the Senior eLearning Content Developer will be responsible for successfully facilitating the delivery of Information Systems' learning strategy related to supported business and collaboration systems.

The main key accountabilities of the role will include:

  • Design, develop and maintain a diverse range of contemporary and digital learning and instructional resources, self-paced, instructor-led, blended and distance training and assessment materials reflective of the business requirements to support face-to-face training and eLearning of key business systems.
  • Bring innovative concepts to enhance self-paced learning from a people-perspective, rather than process, to support a mindset shift on constructive and productive learner behaviours and use contemporary approaches to develop best practice for online learning materials.
  • Liaise and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to scope and identify learning and capability requirements and to develop bespoke activities, assessments and scripts, and create clear, concise and accurate eLearning content and validate it to suit business learning needs.
  • Coordinate digital learning content projects, from concept to final product, including scoping, planning and delivery of eLearning materials, ensuring they are delivered accurately, on time and to budget.
  • Ensure digital learning resources are efficiently and effectively published through internal distribution channels, including the learning management system, intranet, libraries and collaboration tools, and maintain a robust records management system of resources and content developed for version control.
