Salesforce Functional Consultant / Tester

  • $120,692 to 161,511 (Plus Superannuation)
  • Fixed Term / until December 2022
  • Usual hours of work: Full Time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual work location: 1 Spring Street, Melbourne (flexibility may be available)

The position of Salesforce Functional Consultant / Tester forms a part of the Information Services within Corporate Services. Information Services (IS) oversees the delivery of ICT-related investments and services to DJPR. IS engages with the organisation to ensure ICT systems and services are appropriately designed, governed, and delivered.

The role is for a Salesforce Functional Consultant / Tester to lead requirements specification and testing processes within an Agile development and support environment.

Reporting to the Applications Services Manager the key accountabilities of the role include:

  • Lead the formulation and definition of complex business enhancement in the Salesforce platforms, via requirement working sessions with stakeholders including documentation of the product requirements and detailled  system specifications within an agile / scrum development environment including UX design.
  • Assist with Salesforce system configuration and work closely with the agile delivery team to design, build and test applications with agile best practice to ensure maximum user adoption.
  • Establish a formal Salesforce test management framework and process. This includes the implementation and management of test management software, the creation and standardisation of test approach and test scripts for the scrum team development. 
  • Implement and manage formal team standards for testing-related documentation, including test plans, test cases/scripts, and bug reports assessing quality and associated risk;
  • Perform functional, system/technical, integration and regression testing activities within project timelines with a Salesforce Project team
